The Royal Hotel

Stonehaven is a picturesque seaside town with a population of about 14,000. It is located 15 miles south of Aberdeen off the A90. It is on the main East Coast rail line and has its own station. The nearest airport is Aberdeen airport which is about 20 miles north.

The Royal Hotel is located in the heart of the seaside town of Stonehaven. With eighteen ensuite rooms available, it is the largest hotel in the Town and can accommodate up to forty-three people. There are ten double rooms, seven twin rooms and a beautiful family room which overlooks Stonehaven bay. Both the double and twin rooms are available for single occupancy. Each room has a television and tea & coffee making facilities as standard. Also included is a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast.

The hotel has a well stocked bar with a cosy dining area which serves traditional pub food throughout the day. It is also a popular daytime venue for coffee and snacks due to its central location.

Functions
There is a newly refurbished function suite which has superb views of Stonehaven bay. This is available for private functions, meetings & weddings. Any specific requirements should be discussed with the hotel manager who will endeavour to accommodate your needs.
